Option 2: Windows 8
The adjustment of the sensitivity of the mouse in Windows 8 is performed in the properties of the corresponding device in which you can log in with the "control panel". To execute the task, do the following:
- Enter the Start menu, then expand the list of all programs by clicking on the button at the bottom of the interface.
- Among the applications, find and run the "Control Panel".
- In the window that appears, select the "Minor Icons" viewer and click on the "Mouse".
- In the opened properties of the equipment on the "Mouse Button" tab, set the speed of double-clicking, moving the slider in the same direction in the desired side.
- Go to the "Pointer Parameters" tab and in the "Movement" section change the speed of the cursor, shifting the slider into a large or smaller side.
- On the "Wheel" tab, set the desired number of rows that will scroll up when you turn to one click. Save the entered settings by pressing the "Apply" button, and then "OK".
Note! To track changes can be sequentially by pressing "apply" after each adjustment of the parameters.
Option 3: Windows 7

Option 4: Windows XP
Windows XP has many differences in the design of the desktop interface and system utilities, but the highlights are made similar. To change the sensitivity of the mouse in this operating system, you must do the following:
- Open the Start menu by clicking the button of the same name in the lower left corner, and go to the control panel.
- In the window that appears, select the "Printers and Other Equipment" section.
- Enter the properties of the desired equipment by clicking on the "Mouse".
- In a new window on the "Mouse buttons" tab, set the double click speed. The corresponding slider is located in the section of the same name.
- Proceed into the "Pointer Parameters" tab and set the speed of the cursor, moving the slider to a large or smaller side. If necessary, set the "Enable Increase Pointer Installation Accuracy" mark to activate the appropriate option.
- On the "Wheel" tab, change the value in the meter to set the exact number of the rows that will be skipped when the wheel is rotated to the first click. Confirm the data entered by pressing the "Apply" button, and then "OK".
Note! All changes come into force immediately - the restart of the computer will not need.
