Important! Below, we will consider the only legal method for downloading music from spots on the PC, which is to design a premium subscription and using one of its main opportunities. Any other methods that imply an appeal to third-party software and / or services violate the copyright law and the internal rules of the Stringing Platform.
Step 1: Subscription Design
At the time of publication of this article, Spotify offers new users of 3 months of free use, during which you can evaluate all the features provided, including the download of tracks. The procedure for making a subscription is quite simple and consists of three stages - this is the choice of the tariff, the binding means of payment and confirmation. Step 2: Downloading Music
Now, when you have a Spotify Premium account, you can safely switch to download tracks from the service to a computer.
Important! The program for PC does not have the possibility of downloading albums and singles, it is available only for playlists. Therefore, if you want to download individual tracks, first create a playlist with them.
- First, find the playlist you want to download from Spotify. To do this, you can contact the main page of the service and its subsections,

or your own library.
- Having found the desired list of playback, go to it and move the switch opposite the "Download" item to the right above the list of tracks.
- Wait for the completion of the procedure. A icon indicating its availability will appear near the playlist loaded for offline listening, and the switch mentioned in the previous step will be active.
Now, if your computer will disappear on your computer or you turn it off, downloaded tracks can be heard in spots in offline mode, which in such cases is automatically activated. In third-party players, these audio files will not be reproduced, as they are protected by DRM and have different from MP3 format.

Step 3: Setup

In the Spotify settings, you can select a folder on the PC disk in which the audio files loaded for listening to offline will be stored. To do this, you need to do the following:
- Call the Profile Management Menu - To do this, click on the downgrade pointing to the right of your name and select "Settings".
- Scroll through the open page at the bottom and click on the "Show Advanced Settings" button.
- In the "Storage of downloaded tracks" block, click "Change place".
In the file manager appears, go to the folder to which you want to save the downloadable data, and then click on the "OK" button.
Advice: You can create a new folder both in advance and already in this window - you just need to right-click on the root directory, alternately select the "Create" items in the context menu, set the name and confirm the selection.
From this point on, all the music downloaded from the spots will be saved in the location you choose on the PC disk.
Deleting downloaded files
It is logical to assume that at a certain point, downloaded audio files may need to be removed. To do this, it is enough to perform actions inversely considered by us at the second step of this article, that is, to move to a more unnecessary playlist and deactivate the switch opposite the "Downloadable" item. With the completion of the procedure, the data will be deleted.
