Before cropping a video in Sony Vegas Pro, prepare a video file and install Sony Vegas himself.
Installing Sony Vegas Pro
Download the software installation file from the official Sony site. Run it, select English and click the "Next" button.

How to trim the video in Sony Vegas Pro
Run Sony Vegas. The program interface appears before you. At the bottom of the interface there is a time scale (timeline).

Put the cursor on the place from which the video should start.
Next, press the "S" key or select the EDIT> SPLIT menu item at the top of the screen. The video clip must share for two segments.
