Let's describe in detail the process of adding tags to the roller through the full version of the site on the computer:
- Click on the avatar of your channel and select "Creative Studio".
- Here you see a small section with newly added video. If necessary here, then immediately go to its change, if not, open the "Video Manager".
- Go to the "Video" section, find the appropriate entry and click on the "Change" button, which is located near the roller miniature.
- Run down the menu and below the description you will see the string "Tags". Add keywords, separating them by pressing the ENTER. It is important that they correspond to the subject of the video, otherwise there is a possibility of blocking recording from the site administration.
- After entering the keys, do not forget to save the changes. The video will be updated and the entered tags will be applied to it.

Method 2: Mobile application
In the mobile application, YouTube is still not a full-fledged creative studio, where all the required functions for working with content were present. However, there are basic features, including adding and editing tags. Let us consider in more detail this process:
- Run the application, click on your channel avatar and select My Channel.
- Go to the "Video" tab, click on the icon in the form of three vertical points near the desired roller and select "Change".
- A new data editing window opens. Here is a string "Tags". Tap it to open the on-screen keyboard. Now enter the desired keywords, separating them by pressing the "Finish" key, which is on the on-screen keyboard.
- To the right of the inscription "Data Change" is a button, tap it after entering tags and wait for the video update.
As in the full version of YouTube on a computer, in a mobile application, adding and deleting tags is always available. If you have added keywords in different versions of YouTube, it will not affect their mapping, everything is instantly synchronized.
