How to enable family access feature

Initially, the function was only available for beta testing, but today "Family Sharing" can use any user, after which it will be able to share his games with another person and have access to his games. To activate Family Sharing you need to do the following:

1. In the top menu of the main program window, select "Steam", and then click on the "Settings" row.



2. The Stimiment Client Setup window opens. You need a family tab. Go to it.



3. This tab contains family access. It is necessary in order for different participants of the "family" to have access to the game library. In order for another user to gain access to your game library, he needs to enter your computer into your account. Therefore, keep in mind that you will have to share your login and password from the account to add a friend into the seven in the style. 4. So, you passed the username and password from your account to another user. He needs to get out of his account, and then log in to your appropriate login and password. It may have to enter an account access code that will be sent to the electronic address attached to this account. You will need to pass it. Then the so-called family member will need to go to the same settings section, which is described above, only this time its computer must already be specified.
5. After pressing the "Authorize this computer" button, you will add a user's computer to the family list.

This means that it will access your library of games, and can also move from one account to another (from yours in your own and vice versa). All games from your library will also be displayed from him.

Disabling family access

In order to disable the family viewing in Steam, you need to go to the "Family Sharing" control. It is also done through the settings window, where you want to use the "Manage Other Computers" button. All computers that have access to your account will be presented on this screen through the Family Sharing function. In order to disable the access to a specific computer, you must click the "Devutorization" button, after which this device will no longer have access to the library of your games.
