How to change Windows 10 System Sounds

In previous versions of Windows, the user could change the system sounds in the control panel - "sound" on the "Sounds" tab. Similarly, this can be done in Windows 10, but in the list available to change sounds there are no "login in Windows", "Exit from Windows", "shutdown of Windows".

Enabling the display of missing system sounds in the sound circuit setting

In order to make the ability to change the windows, output and shutdown sounds, you will need to use the registry editor. To start it, either start entering the REGEDIT in the search panel, or press Win + R keys, enter the regedit and press ENTER. After that, follow these simple steps.

1. In the Registry Editor, go to the section (folders on the left) HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ APPEVENTS \ EVENTLABELS.

   

2. Inside this section, pay attention to the subsections of Systemexit, WindowsLogoff, WindowsLogon and WindowsUnlock. They comply with the completion of the work (even here is called Systemexit), out of Windows, entering Windows and unlock the system.
3. In order to enable the display of any of these items in setting up Windows 10 sounds, select the appropriate section and pay attention to EXCLEUDEFROMCPL in the right-hand side of the registry editor.
4. Click the value twice and change its value from 1 to 0.

   

After you perform an action for each of the system sounds you need and go to the Windows 10 sound circuit settings (this can be done not only through the control panel, but also through the right click on the speaker icon in the notification area - "sounds", and in Windows 10 1803 - Right click on the dynamics - sound parameters - open the sound control panel).
