Method 1: Correction of configuration problems
The most frequently considered problem occurs due to incorrectly specified sound parameters in the system management. To eliminate it, you need to do the following:
- Open the Control Panel. A universal way that will work on all topical versions of Windows - call the "Run" window by pressing the combination of Win + R, enter the CONTROL PANEL request and click "OK".
- After the main window appears, switch the items display mode to "large icons" and select "Sound".
- Click the "Playback" tab. Active device for sound recovery is marked with green daw - it must be a column. Right click on it with the right mouse button (PCM) and select "Properties".
- First of all, go to the "Levels" tab. The background noise most often occurs due to the undergrowth level indicators - to eliminate this, press "BALANCE" and use the sliders marked as "LF", "ZL" and "ZP" that need to be installed below the main volume by moving to the left.
- Now open the "Improvements" section and remove the mark from the "Toncompensation" item. If there is no one, then look for a variant named "Volume Align" or similar in meaning and turn off it. After making all changes, click successively "Apply" and "OK".

Method 2: Installing new sound card drivers
If the above method did not help you, the next step is to update the drivers for the sound card of the computer. Method 3: hardware troubleshooting
The background noise often occurs and due to the failure of certain components of both the speakers themselves and the sound card. For diagnostics, do the following:
- The most frequent hardware failure - damage to the connecting cables of the columns. Check them off visually for pulp and / or chances, paying particular attention to the seats near the connectors. Also when connecting to a computer, try moving with wires - if the noise disappears, it is almost a single sign of breakage. Of course, the only reliable solution to this problem will be replaced.
- Pay attention to the connection socket both on the speakers themselves and on the sound card of the computer - dust, contamination or corrosion may give background buzz. A more serious option for this reason is the violation of the integrity of the connectivity (for example, a soldering or component of ports is damaged), but this is usually accompanied by additional symptoms up to the full loss of sound. To clean the outputs, you can use cotton chopsticks in a suitable cleaner (ethanol, isopropanol or gasoline "Kalosha"): Insert the tool into the socket and slowly careful movements. Wipe it inner surface. If you have suspicion of breakdown, it is better to attribute the device to the service.
- The most difficult case is the failure of one or more internal components of the columns. As a rule, the background noise gives problems with resistors and capacitors or damage to the dynamics itself. As practice shows, at home such problems are very difficult to eliminate, so the best recommendation on our part will be visited by the workshop: for specialists, such tasks are considered elementary.
- You can not exclude problems on the side of the computer - alas, even the expensive audio maps of the Hi-end class are subject to breakdowns, especially with inaccurate circulation. The easiest way is to determine the source of the failure, by connecting either the column to a well-properly suitable device (for example, a smartphone), or the sound output tool to the "sound". If it turns out that the reason for the background buzz is in it, then there is a device or under the replacement (cheap instances), or a visit to the master repair (expensive options).
