Connecting a router to configure
First of all, make sure that your router is properly connected - if it was connected by Rostelecom employees, it is likely that all the wires - to the computer, the provider cable and the cable to the TV console, if you have it, are connected to the LAN ports. This is not right and the same is the cause of problems when setting up - as a result, there is little that it turns out and access to the Internet is only from a single computer connected by a wire, but not from a laptop, tablet or smartphone via Wi-Fi. The picture below is the correct connection scheme.
Also check the LAN settings before you begin - go to the "Network and Shared Access Center" (for Windows 7 and Windows 8) or in Network Connections (Windows XP), right-click on the "LAN Connection" (Ethernet ) - "Properties". Then, in the list of components used by connecting, select "Internet Protocol version 4 TCP / IPv4" and click the "Properties" button. Make sure that all protocol parameters are set to "automatically" as in the image below.
If you have already unsuccessfully tried to configure the router, I recommend also to reset all the settings, for which, when the router is enabled, press and hold the RESET button on the back of it for about ten seconds, then release it.
You may also want to update the router firmware, which you can read in the DIR-300 firmware instructions. This is not necessarily, but in the case of inadequate behavior of the router, this is the first thing to try to do.

First of all, disconnect the connection Rostelecom on the computer from which you are setting before configuring the router. Next, everything is quite simple - start your favorite browser and type 192.168.0.1 into the address bar, press Enter. At the login prompt window and enter the default password for the DIR-300NRU B7 - admin and admin for each field.
