Does not show monitoring in MSI Afterburner

Method 1: Enabling Monitoring

Typically, the function is active by default - the basic features of computer performance tracking should be displayed. However, in some cases, the corresponding options can be turned off for any other reasons. Method 2: Full Reinstalling MSI Afterburner

For the monitoring functions in AFTERBERERER, the third-party Riva System Tuner module is responsible, which is the part of the entire software package. When problems with it, it is recommended to reinstall software from MSI.

1. Before starting the procedures, download the current version of the program.

2. For a more effective solution to the task, we use a third-party uninstaller - for example, the well-known Revo Unisntaller: download the program on the suggested link below and install it on the target computer.

3. Run the tool and go to the "Deyl Stator" tab, if this does not happen automatically. Find an entry that matches the acterburner on it, select a single click of the left mouse button and click Delete.

   

   In the next window, click "Continue."



4. Standard Uninstall Tool will start - use it to delete the main data of MSI AfterBurner. Upon returning to the Revo Uninstaller window, the application will propose to erase residual files and registry entries - this is exactly what distinguishes complete uninstall from the usual one. For our case, the moderate mode is enough - select it, then click "Scan".



5. On the first tab, residual entries in the registry are present, click "Select All" - "Delete", then click on the "Next" button.

   

   Click "Yes."



6. On the next tab, you will be prompted to get rid of file residues - also highlight and delete everything by pressing the appropriate buttons, then click "Finish". Ensure that all MSI records are missing from the Revo Unisntaller list, then close the program and restart the computer.



7. Install the AFTERBERNER package, then turn on the monitoring display - now there should be no failures in its operation.

As a rule, so radical measures in most situations solve the problem. If this did not happen, use one of the ways further.

Method 3: Delete other applications with overlines

Cases are known when MSI AfterBurner monitoring can conflict with other applications that use an overlay display - for example, OBS, FRAPS, or a solution built into Steam. Separate programs may be required to be removed by the methods described in the previous part, while the tool from the Valve store can be removed through its settings.

1. Open the program, then use Steam Points - "Settings".



2. Click the "in the game" tab and remove the checkbox from the "Enable Steam Overlay" option.



3. Also, the stimulation monitoring mode can be turned off for each game separately. Close the "Settings" and go to the "library".



4. Find in the list to the left of the game for which you want to disable overlay, click on it right-click and select "Properties".



5. The "General" tab opens, on which the desired option is located - delete the mark, then click "Close".



If the problem was to conflict the software, the recommendations above must eliminate it.

Method 4: Fighting Computer Viruses

Occasionally incorporate an overlay in MSI Afterburner may interfere with malware, which conflicts with the program for the same reasons as the useful software. Of course, get rid of maliciousness more difficult than from ordinary applications, but the procedure will not take you a lot of trouble, if you use the instructions written by one of our authors.
