In two past articles, I wrote about what torrent is and how to look for torrents. This time it will be about a specific example of using a file sharing network for searching and downloading the necessary file to a computer.
Loading and installing torrent client
In my opinion, the best torrent customer is free utorrent. Easy to use, works quickly, has a number of useful settings, small size and allows you to play downloaded music or movies even before the end of their download.

To install, go to the official website of the UTorrent.com program, click "Download UTorrent", and then - "Free Download". Run the downloaded file and follow a simple installation process, where, in fact, you can simply press "Next", drawing attention to the fact that it does not install all sorts of things in the load - like that: Yandex Bar or something else. I, in any case, I do not like when installed programs are trying to put something else to my computer. At the end of the installation, the torrent client will be launched and you will see its icon on the right below on your screen.

About how and where to find and download torrents I wrote here. In this example, we use, for example, torrent with the Rutracker.org tracker to search for an image of a CD with Windows 98 ... I do not know why it may need, but this is just an example, right?
In order to use the search on Rutracker.org, registration is required. I do not know why everything is looking for torrents without registration, but I think that it is definitely worth registering on this site.

In the search string, enter "Windows 98" and see what he will find us. As you can see, there are various literature on the list, build for a virtual machine, drivers ... And here is the "copy of the original CD" - what you need. Click on the header and get to the distribution page.
Need torrent file
All we need to do here is to familiarize yourself with the description of the torrent and make sure that this is exactly what we were looking for. You can also read and comments - often it happens that there are some non-working files in the distribution, as a rule, they are reported in the comments by downloaded. It can save our time. It is also worth looking at the number of distributing (CIDS) and downloading (lychee) - the more the number of first, the faster and more stable will be downloading.
Click "Download Torrent" and depending on what your browser you have and how files are organized from the Internet, or immediately click "Open", or download to the computer and open the torrent file.
Choose where to download torrent
When you open this type of file, you will automatically start the installed client in which you can choose where to save the file, what exactly needs to download (if the distribution consists of a plurality of files), etc. After clicking "OK", download the necessary files. In the status window you can view how much percent has already been downloaded, what is the download speed, approximate time to the end and other details.
