Pub (Microsoft Office Publisher Document) - File format that can simultaneously contain graphs, pictures and formatted text. Most often, brochures, magazine pages, newsletters, booklets, etc. are saved in this form.
Most of the documents for working with documents do not work with the expansion of PUB, therefore difficulties may arise with the opening of such files.
Method 2: LibreOffice
In the LibreOffice office package there is an extension of Wiki Publisher, which is designed to work with PUB documents. If you have not installed this extension, it can always be downloaded separately on the developer's website.
- Expand the File tab and select Open (Ctrl + O).
- Find and open the desired document.
- In any case, you will get the opportunity and view the contents of the PUB, and make small changes there.
The same action can be performed by clicking the "Open File" button in the side column.
You can also use dragging for opening.
Microsoft Office Publisher is perhaps a more acceptable option, because it always correctly opens PUB documents and allows you to fulfill full editing. But if you have a LibreOffice on your computer, then it will be consolidated at least for viewing such files.
