How to use IgTV in instagram

Option 1: Instagram

The IGTV video section in the official mobile application Instagram is very limited by part of the capabilities provided, which is why it is recommended to use a separate, much more advanced client. Despite this, we still consider work with the publications of this species, which for the most part comes down to interaction with the player and the addition of new rollers.

View video

To view any video through a social network client, in any case, you will have to go to the page of the desired user and on the publication list, select a tab with the IGTV logo. This will lead to the opening of an internal media player that displays the name of the roller and the author's nickname at the top of the screen, as well as providing several tools on the bottom panel.

When you click on the Heart icon, you can estimate the record, which is accompanied by a color change, but without any notifications. To explore and create comments, use another number of the message button.

Using the button with the image of the aircraft, you can send this video to any other social network user with one of the available ways. Of course, you should not forget about privacy settings that can block the viewing of other people.

The extreme button "Next" on the same panel allows you to display a list of other videos of the author for a quick transition without closing the media player. Navigation at the same time is shifted to the right or left side.

Through a menu opening with the three vertical dials, several more functions are available, one of which is sending video to other applications. To do this, it is enough to touch the item "Share in ..." and in the pop-up window to choose a suitable place, whether Instagram himself or any messenger itself.

If you liked the video, and you do not want to lose it because of the permanent release of the new, you can use the option "Save" in the same menu. This will duplicate the entry into a separate application section.

Do not forget about such an option as to "copy a link", which allows you to share a record in places inaccessible in the usual way, as well as using third-party applications to download. Unfortunately, at the moment, the viewer is available only to this set of features.

View statistics

For the IGTV video that you have been added, the "Statistics" auxiliary section is available directly associated with the use of professional account. To get acquainted with the data, click the button with three points at the bottom of the screen and select "Statistics", given that seeing a list of specific users will not work.

Change video

Through a similar menu, opened using the three-point buttons, you can use the option "Edit" to make changes without re-loading video and loss of statistics. In this case, it is impossible to somehow affect the contents or at least update the cover, but you can still edit the name or transfer the video into the series.

To save new parameters, use a button with a check mark in the upper right corner of the screen. According to the result of this kind, the update will not be reflected in publication for the audience.

Option 2: IgTV

A much more convenient IgTV application is a separate client with videos of this species, passing a large number of auxiliary capabilities. First of all, it is worth considering that here while watching the video will be available all the same as in the first section of the previous version, and therefore will not be reused.

View Profile

Through this application, you can view accounts of other people and issue subscriptions using the appropriate button on the top panel. Videos themselves are represented as the main and unique publications, despite the fact that there are other posts in Instagram.

For convenience, you can use the "Sort and Filter" option to change the order of displaying the video on the page, including leaving only records of direct broadcasts or series of a specific series. In this case, regardless of the settings, the global sorting filter will still work.

At its discretion, you can change the parameters in the subsection with the speaker name "Sorting" by selecting one of the two values, including the "new" and "most visible". In the future, if you want to reset the settings, you can open the menu and use the Clear button.

Interesting publications

When you go to the second tab using the bottom navigation pane, you can get acquainted with the video of the IGTV and a list of direct air selected based on your interests. By themselves, the video is spilled and updated by swipe down the page, whereas to familiarize themselves with the translations in the corresponding unit, you should use the link "All".

Updating the list of current recommendations may not work properly in some cases. In order to correct the situation, it is best to restart the program or, if it does not help, exit and re-log in.

Search in IGTV.

On the first two tabs of the program on the right side of the top panel, you can click on the search icon to find a specific user or publishing. By analogy with searching in the official application, only text characters in different languages can be used as a query.

It is important to take into account that in this case, the use of exclusively hashtegov is available on the "Tags" page, while the location labels and mention will cause errors. Unfortunately, to circumvent this restriction will not work.

Notifications

The following "Notifications" tab from the main sections of the application allows you to view all events events received, anyway-related IGTV video. As in the mobile application of the social network, there is a division into several categories here, but the quick transition to the settings is available.

Using the button with the image of the gear on the top panel, you can change the parameters for receiving notifications by disabling informing about certain events. In addition, through the same section can be included or, on the contrary, references to direct broadcasts of your subscriptions are disconnected.

Personal Profile

The last page in the application fully dedicated to your account allows you to view the personal video library and quickly go to edit the settings. We will not consider the parameters themselves, since this or practically does not apply to the topic or completely copies the possibilities of the official client.

The only useful sections include the "view history" and the list of "saved video", each of which is available in the main menu of the program. In both cases, records can easily be removed both by one and in large quantities by selection.

Option 3: Website

Compared to the two previously reviewed applications, the Instagram website is limited much more and are reduced, in fact, to the same functions that are available when working with any other publications. Thus, all that can be done is to view content in a separate category of profile, adding to the bookmarks.

Unlike images, personal publications of this variety can be deleted using the appropriate option. However, in the rest, it is impossible to search, nor browse the record statistics.
