Option 1: Website
To search for a user account in Instagram through the website of the social network VKontakte, provided that the necessary person in advance has been binding a profile when it was possible, or manually added the URL in the account description. - Open the official website of the social network under consideration, over the main menu, go to "Friends" and select a child section "Search for friends" in the right column. You can also stay on the previous page or go to another directory to search for friends or subscribers if the user needed has been added to the appropriate list.
- Fill in the main text field "Search" in the header of the page using the name and surname of the search user, and press the Enter key. For greater efficiency, be sure to use "Search Parameters" located on the right side.
- After moving to an account, the link to Instagram should be located opposite the item of the same name when disclosing the "Show detailed information" block. If you click on this line, the Official Instagram site opens or the application if the PC VK version is used on a mobile device.
In some cases, which is particularly relevant for new accounts created after the binding of the social networks under consideration has become impossible, the full URL of the profile can be specified in the Site subsection. Features of the transition on the link in this case are completely identical to the previous option, with the only difference that on the phone, in any case, the Instagram web version opens.
If the page is missing fields you are interested in, it is possible in privacy settings or the user preferred to not specify contact information. If such a situation occurs, unfortunately, nothing can be done, except to try other ways to search for people by installing instagram or third-party sites.
Option 2: Mobile application
In order to find friends or just interesting users in Instagram through the mobile application VKontakte, you can also use the inner, albeit a bit different from the design, the search system.
- Using the bottom navigation bar of the application, go to the "Home" tab and in the upper right corner of the screen, click on the icon with the image of the magnifying glass. After that, you should move to the "People" tab and touch the Text Block "Search of People".
- Fill in the graph in accordance with the name and surname of the desired user, simply viewing the results. To eliminate some options, if you know something specific about a person, be sure to use the Filters pop-up window.
- Having understood with the screening of the results, find a person in the list. To go to a personal questionnaire, it is enough to touch the arbitrary region next to the name.
- Following the results on the user page, in the account header, click on the "Detailed Information" signature and scroll through the contents of the window to the Niza itself. If the account holder made a profile binding in Instagram or manually indicated the link, it will be displayed within the "Contacts" block.
In the second embodiment, unfortunately, there may be problems if the field was used for more than one address. In addition, the reference without binding even in the appendix will lead to the opening of the website in a mobile browser, not an official social network client.
