How to change your name in Google Account

Sometimes the owners of Google Account have the need to change the username. It is very important, because it is from this very name all subsequent letters and files will be sent.

Change the username in Google

Method 1: Gmail

Method 2: "My Account"

An alternative to the first option is to use a personal account. It provides the ability to finely configure the profile, including the user name.

1. Go to the main page of the account settings of the account.
2. We find the section "Privacy", we click on the item "Personal Information".

   

3. In the opened window on the right side, click on the arrow opposite the name "Name".

   

4. In the window that appears, enter a new name and confirm.
