How to download an app on Samsung's memory card

Important information

Before proceeding to the description of the save options, note that neither Samsung, nor on any other device running Android, direct downloading applications to the memory card from stores like Google Play or Samsung Galaxy Store is impossible: these are restrictions of the operating system itself. However, it does not apply to the installation of APK files received from the Internet, we will also talk about.

Method 1: application transfer

1. Open the "Settings" - "Applications".

4. Also tap the "File Save" option and select "Memory Card" in it - now the default location for the download manager will be MicroSD.



From this point on, the APK files that you download on the phone should be saved to the memory card, from where the software can be installed, and if necessary, and transfer to the external drive, by implementing the first instruction in this article.

There is no transfer buttons in the System Application Manager

The most frequent problem when trying to keep the program on MicroSD is the lack of means of transfer as such. There are several reasons for this.
