But sometimes the device from Yota does not want to function normally. What can be done in this case by the usual yowser?

The causes of the malfunction can be a lot, but first of all you need to check the balance of the account in your personal account on the site of the provider and make sure that you are in the area of confident network 4G network. Try restarting the computer, a laptop or router to which the device is connected. Pull out and back insert the modem into the USB port when the power is turned off. Did not help? Then go on.

Step 1: USB Cable Check

If you are using a USB extension to connect a modem to a PC or a laptop, then with a spare similar cable, try to replace the wire. He could well come into disrepair. Do not use a length extension more than 1.8 meters. You can move the "Whistle" to another window or another room in the search for a stable signal from the base station of the provider.

Step 2: Edit Registry

If you have already switched to Windows 10, then in this still quite unstable operating system, the Yota modem may hang. Similar trouble is possible in previous versions of OS from Microsoft. To solve this problem, you need to make minor changes in the registry.

Click the Win + R key combination, enter the command to call the built-in registry editor: Regedit. Click on "OK" or on ENTER.

Open the registry folder successively by turning down the path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CURRENTCONTROLSET \ SERVICES \ Rasman.

In the right section of the registry editor, we find the "RequiredPrivileges" parameter and quickly twice with the left mouse button on it.

In the editing window, add the following entry: SELOADDRIVERPRIVILEGE. Click LKM on ok.

We close the registry editor and reboot the computer.

Many modem modem modems were developed and produced before Windows 10 output and therefore there is a possibility of incompatibility of the device drivers with a new operating system. On the device's body, look at the label and rewrite the manufacturer and model. Yota modems make many companies: Huawei, Gemtek, Zyxel, Quanta and others. Go to the manufacturer's official website and download the most recent drivers for your device. Install them and restart the PC or laptop.

If a blue indicator does not light up on the modem, it is advisable to change the USB connection connector. Avoid ports on the front panel of the computer, as they are associated with the material board with a wire, which leads to the loss of the signal.
