Most games have a file type BIN, but they are placed on a computer through a special installation file. In some cases, especially in old video games, this is not the installer, and the standard Windows operating system to start the installation of this game will not work. In this article we describe in detail how to make this process through additional software.
Set BIN file format

- Navigate to the folder with the game, click RMB on any place in the directory, move the cursor to "Start" and select "Text Document".

- Go to the pop-up menu "File" and select "Save As ...".
- Specify the file type "All Files." Caption it as much as called BIN, and then put the point and append cue. Click on "Save".
You now have a CUE-file, which will be carried out follow-up work. If a folder with the game there are several BIN, to each of them to create a CUE, setting the corresponding names.
Step 2: Mounting and installation of the image
It only remains to mount the image, run it and make the installation of the game or any other program. This process is carried out with the help of third-party applications, let's look at this step by the example Daemon Tools:
- Visit the official site of the software and select the appropriate version. You can use a simple and Lite, not to buy a subscription for the money.
- Click on the "Download" button.
- Run the downloaded file and choose the most convenient type of activation.
- Wait until the installation is complete and run Daemon Tools.
- Click on the plus sign to add a new image.
- Go to the game folder and select the CUE file you created.
- Open it in the program double clicking the left mouse button on the image icon.
Next, follow the instructions that will be displayed on the screen for successful installation of the game or software. In the case of the presence of several CUE, simply mount and launch them.
