Most users have photos and videos on the iPhone, which may not be intended for strangers. The question arises: how can they hide them? Read more about this and will be discussed in the article.
Hide a photo on the iPhone
Below we will look at two ways to hide the photo and video on the iPhone, and one of them is standard, and the second will use the work of a third-party application.Method 1: Photo
In iOS 8, Apple has implemented the function of hiding photos and video records, however, the hidden data will be moved to a special section, not even password protected. Fortunately, it will be quite difficult to see hidden files, not knowing what kind of section they are located.
- Open the standard photo application. Select an image that is supposed to be removed from the eye.
- Tap in the lower left corner over the menu button.
- Next, select the "Hide" button and confirm your intention.
- The photo will disappear from the general collection of images, however, it will still be available on the phone. To view hidden images, open the Albums tab, scroll to the easiest list, and then select the "Hidden" section.
- If you need to resume the visibility of the photo, open it, select the Menu button in the lower left corner, and then tap on "Show".
Method 2: Keepsafe
Actually, reliably hide images, protecting their password, you can only with third-party applications, which are in the open spaces of the App Store. We will consider the process of protecting photos on the example of the Keepsafe application.
Download keeppsafe
- Upload Keepsafe from the App Store and install on the iPhone.
- When you first start you will need to create a new account.
- The specified email address will receive an incoming letter containing a link to confirm the account. Open it to complete the registration.
- Return to the application. Keepsafe will need to provide access to the film.
- Mark the images that are planned to be protected from outsiders (if you want to hide all photos, press the "Select All" button in the upper right corner).
- Comeume the code password to which images will be protected.
- The application will start importing files. Now, with each Keepsafe launch (even if the application is simply minimized), a previously created PIN code will be requested, without which it is impossible to access hidden images.
Any of the proposed methods will allow you to hide all the required photos. In the first case, you are limited to the built-in tools of the system, and in the second securely protect the image with a password.
