Step 1: Create an account for synchronization

If you still do not have your account, it will not take it much time.

1. Press the "Menu" button, then on the word "synchronization", which will deploy a small menu. From it, select the only available option to "save data".



2. The registration and entry page opens. Click on the "Start Account" button.



3. You will forward you to the Yandex Account Creation page, which will open the following features:
   • Mail with a domain @ yandex.ru;
   • 10 GB on the cloud storage;
   • Synchronization between devices;
   • Use Yandex.Money and other company services.
4. Fill in the proposed fields and click on the "Register" button. Please note that Yandex.Corsselk is automatically created during registration. If you do not need it, remove the checkbox.

Step 2: Enable Synchronization

After registration, you will again find yourself on the Synchronization Turning on page. Login will already be substituted, you just have to enter the password specified during registration. After entering, click on the "Enable Synchronization" button:

The service will propose to install Yandex.Disk, about whose advantages is written in the window itself. Select "Close the window" or "Install Disk" at your discretion.

Step 3: Sync Setup

After successfully enabling the function in the "Menu", the notification will be displayed "Synchronized just", as well as the details of the process itself.

The default is synchronizing everything, and to exclude some items, click "Configure Synchronization".

In the "What to synchronize" to remove the checkboxes from what you want to leave only on this computer.

You can also use one of two links at any time:

• "Disable synchronization" pauses its action until you repeat the inclusion procedure again (step 2).
• "Delete Synchronized Data" erases what was placed in the Yandex cloud service. This is necessary, for example, when you change the Conditions of the Synchronized Data Terms (for example, disable "Bookmark" synchronization).

View synchronized tabs

Many users are particularly interested in synchronizing tabs between their devices. If, with the previous configuration, they have been turned on, this does not mean that all open tabs on one device will automatically open on the other. To view them, you will need to enter special sections of a desktop or mobile browser.

View tabs on your computer

In Yandex.Browser for a computer, access to the viewing tab is not implemented not in the most convenient way.

1. You will need to enter into the address string of Browser: // Devices-Tabs and press ENTER to get on the list of running tabs on other devices.

   

   You can also get into this section of the menu, for example, from "Settings", switched to the "Other Devices" item in the top panel.



2. Here, first, select the device from which you want to get a list of tabs. The screenshot shows that only one smartphone is synchronized, but if synchronization is enabled for 3 or more devices, the list of left will be greater. Choose the desired option and click on it.



3. To the right you will see not only the list of currently open tabs, but also what is saved to the "scoreboard". With tabs you can do everything you need - go on them, add to bookmarks, copy URLs, etc.

View tabs on your mobile device

Of course, there is also reverse sync in the form of viewing tabs opened on synodized devices, through a smartphone or tablet. In our case, it will be an Android smartphone.

1. Open Yandex.Browser and click on the button with the number of tabs.



2. On the bottom panel, select the center button as a computer monitor.



3. A window will open where synchronized devices will be displayed. We only have a "computer".
