How to connect a Wi-Fi router TP-LINK WR-740N

Despite the fact that the answer to the question is obvious, just in case I will stop at this. On the reverse side of your TP-LINK wireless router there are five ports. To one of them, with the signature of WAN, connect the Beeline cable. And one of the remaining ports connect with the network connector of your computer or laptop. The setting is best done by wired connected.
In addition to this, before proceeding, I recommend to look into the connection settings that you use to communicate with the router. To do this, on the keyboard of the computer, press the Win keys (with the emblem) + R and enter the NCPA.CPL command. A list of connections will open. Right-click on the one through which the WR740N is connected and select "Properties". After that, make sure that the TCP IP protocol parameters are set to "receive IP automatically" and "connect to DNS automatically", as in the picture below.
Configuring Beeline L2TP Connection
Important: Rass the Beeline connection (if you started it to log in) on the computer itself during the configuration and do not run it after the router is configured, otherwise the Internet will be only on this particular computer, but not on other devices.
On the sticker located on the reverse side of the router, there are data for access by default - address, login and password.
- Standard address to go to the TP-Link router settings - tplinklogin.net (192.168.0.1).
- Username and Password - Admin
So, run your favorite browser and enter the specified address in the address bar, and enter the default data on the username and password. You will find yourself on the main page of the TP-LINK WR740N settings.
On the left menu, select "Network" - "WAN", after which fill the fields as follows:
- WAN Type Connection - L2TP / Russia L2TP
- Username - Your Login Beeline starts at 089
- Password - Your Password Beeline
- IP Address / Server Name - TP.internet.beeline.ru
After that, click "Save" at the bottom of the page. After the page is updated, you will see that the connection status has changed to "connected" (and if not, wait half a minute and refresh the page, check that the Beeline connection is not running on the computer).
Thus, the connection is established and access to the Internet is already there. It remains to put a password on Wi-Fi.
Setting up Wi-Fi on the TP-LINK TL-WR740N router
In order to configure the wireless network, open the Wireless Mode menu item. On the first page you will be prompted to set the network name. You can enter what you like, this name you will identify your network among neighbors. Do not use Cyrillic.
After that, open the "Wireless Protection" subparagraph. Select Recommended WPA-Personal mode and set a password to a wireless network, which should consist of at least eight characters.
Save the settings made. On this, the router setting is complete, you can connect via Wi-Fi from a laptop, phone or tablet, the Internet will be available.
