You can often encounter a situation when Windows gives the message "Error, missing msvcp71.dll". Before describing the various ways to eliminate it, you must briefly mention that it represents and why it occurs. The problem is occurring if the file is missing or damaged, and sometimes there is a mismatch of versions. A program or a game may require one version, and the system is different. It happens quite rarely, but it is possible.
Additional libraries, in theory, should be supplied with software, but to reduce the installation package, sometimes they neglect. Therefore, you have to install them on your own. Also, which is less likely the file may be damaged or removed by the virus.
Method 1: Loading msvcp71.dll
You can install msvcp71.dll manually using Windows.
To do this, first download the DLL file itself, and then place it in the C: \ Windows \ System32 directory (with a 32-bit OS) or in C: \ Windows \ SYSWOW64 (at a 64-bit OS), copying in the usual way ("Copy - Paste ") or as shown in the picture:

Microsoft Net Framework is Microsoft software technology that allows the application to use components written in different languages. To solve the problem with msvcp71.dll, it will be enough to download it and install it. The program itself copies the files to the system directory and will register. You will not need to make any additional steps.
The injection page will require such actions:
- Select the same installation language on which you have Windows installed.
- Use the button "Download".
- Click "refuse and continue." (Unless, of course, I did not like something from the recommendations.)
- Click on the "YES" button.
- Take the license terms.
- Use the "Install" button.
Next, you will be prompted to download the recommended optional software:
At the end of the download, turn on the installation. Next, do these steps:
Finished, at the end of the installation, the msvcp71.dll file will be placed in the system directory, and the error should not appear anymore.
It should be noted that if the system already has a later option NET Framework, it may not allow you to install an old version. Then it will be necessary to remove it from the system and then install version 1.1. New Net Framework does not always fully replace the previous ones, so you have to resort to old options. It is necessary to use them as needed for specific cases. Some of them can be installed in an arbitrary order, and some will need to delete a newer version. In other words, you will have to delete the latest version, install the old one, and then again return the new version back.
