If, when you start the application on the computer, you see the message in which it says: "msvcrt.dll is not found" (or other similar in meaning), this means that there is no specified dynamic library on the computer. The error is quite common, especially often occurs in Windows XP, but in other versions OS is also present.
Method 1: Download MSVCRT.DLL
You can get rid of problems with msvcrt.dll, you can simply download DLL. All that you need to do for this is to download the library itself and move it to the appropriate folder.
- Download the MSVCRT.DLL file and go to the folder with it.
- Click on the PCM on it and select "Copy". Also, you can also use the hot keys Ctrl + C.
- Go to the folder to which you want to move the file. Please note that in each version of Windows its name is different. To accurately understand where exactly you need to copy the file, it is recommended to familiarize yourself with the appropriate article on the site.
- Going to the system folder, insert a file copied earlier by pressing the PCM and selecting "Insert", or using the Ctrl + V key combination.

Method 2: Installing Microsoft Visual C ++
You can get rid of the error with the MSVCRT.DLL library by installing the Microsoft Visual C ++ package of 2015. The fact is that when installing it is installed, the library is placed and necessary to launch applications, as it is part of it.
Initially, you need to download this very package for this:
- Follow the link to the Official Download Page.
- From the list, select your Windows language and click "Download".
- In the dialog box that appears after that, select the package bit. It is important that it corresponds to the discharge of your system. After that, click "Next".
The Microsoft Visual C ++ installer will begin onto the computer. After completing it, run the downloaded file and do the following:
- Note that you got acquainted with the license terms and accept them, then click "Next".
- Wait for the installation of all Microsoft Visual C ++ components.
- Click the Close button to complete the installation.
After the MSVCRT.DLL dynamic library is placed in the system, all applications that do not work before that will open without any problems.
