The only way to add a company to Google Maps on the full version of the site is to register a new organization through another service designed for business owners. The procedure for creating a new company through the service My business is free, however, it may take a lot of time, most of which will go to confirm. It is important to take into account, since there are practically no accurate time limits regardless of the address.

Creating an organization
- To add a new company, you can choose from using the above reference or go directly to Google Maps and at the bottom of the main menu click "Add company". Both actions will lead to the emergence of the same page.
- At the "Find a company and manage it", use the link "Add a company to Google".
- When the next query appears, fill in the text box for the name, and click "Next".
- Specify the type of activity of the organization being created, whether it is a store or another enterprise.
- Be sure to "You want to add a shop, office or other location, open to" Yes "and click" Next ". This parameter will allow you to immediately add the address that will subsequently appear on Google Maps.
Fill in the fields presented and click Next. You should only specify reliable data, as Google checks the form for errors and, moreover, will require confirmation.
- If you need to add not only one point on Google maps, but also to display an organization when choosing some region, you can additionally specify the place at the "Your company serves customers to other addresses".
It will be much more variety than when specifying the main place.
- After switching to the "What contact information you want to show clients" enter the phone number and, if necessary, the website address. Only the first field is obligatory, but does not require confirmation.
After completing the creation procedure, you will find yourself on the page requesting confirmation. This step may look different, but most often consists in sending the code in the physical address, which will later need to specify the corresponding field.
Add address
- If there are already existing addresses, in fact, the mention of your company should already be on the service website, as this is directly related to the specified data. However, despite this, Google allows you to add several places at once in the same account.
To do this, deploy the main menu and select the "Address Management" section.
- Using the "Add Address" button, a new organization can be created with similar confirmation requirements.
Please note that information about the company even in case of fast confirmation will not appear immediately, but may take a very large period of time. For this reason, it is necessary to gain patience and wait, until it takes the design of the future card on Google Maps.
Step 2: Company Setup
Having understood with the organization's creation procedure and waiting for confirmation or already placing the company on the public Google Maps, you can also specify additional data for customers. You can do this through the control panel on which the previous stage of our instruction was completed.
- Scroll through the initial page of the company's management panel and find the block "Specify the Company's data". To add any information, use one of the links presented here.
Alternatively, you can immediately go to view the card by deploying the main menu in the upper left corner and selecting "Information".
- To begin with, use the pencil icon "Edit" next to the location to open the parameters.
- It is necessary in order to more accurately specify the place on the map, simply moves the marker on the right side of the pop-up window at the desired point. Be careful, this item is one of those whose change will require re-confirmation.
- At its discretion, make the setting of other blocks by specifying the contact details, opening hours, description, etc. In addition, you can make a change in the name.
- If at the bottom of the page under consideration, use the "Add Photo" button, you can download images that will later be displayed in the organization's card.
There are several options for photos and videos, the loading of which will lead to the appearance of media in certain places.
- You can consider a successfully completed procedure when the block "expects confirmation" and "specify the company data" will disappear from the main page. In this case, it will be possible to return to the parameters only through "Details".
We tried to consider the main aspects of creating an organization for a subsequent display on Google maps, but this is not limited. In particular, after confirmation, additional blocks will appear with statistics, customer reviews about the company and many other tools.
Option 2: Mobile application
The official application of my business for mobile devices also allows you to manage the addresses of companies confirmed and added to Google Maps. Step 1: Adding a Address
- By installing and opening the application, select Google Account. You can do it on the welcoming page at the very beginning and through the internal parameters.
- If any existing company is not enshrined behind you, it will be immediately proposed to create a new one.
Fill in the fields according to the requirements and can immediately confirm the address you specify.
- Alternatively, if there is an existing organization, you can simply add a new address. To do this, tap the top panel on the main application screen and select "Add a company".
Subsequent actions are performed in the same way as described slightly higher.
Step 2: Company Setup
- After completing the procedure for creating and preparing, you can make additionally about the company. This is done on the "Profile" tab, and first you need to tap on the "Add Cover" block.
As a photo, you can use almost anything if it does not violate the Google Custom Agreement. In addition, unlike the PC version, you can use filters to create a more spectacular cover.
- Additionally, be sure to add the logo of your organization, taping along the corresponding button and loading. Please note that when changing such information in the Card confirmed company before updating the new cover and the logo, there will be several hours.

Touching the marked line and switched to the "Change Information about the Company" page, you can edit the location data manually using text fields or climbing and moving the marker on the miniature version of Google Maps so that the desired place is exactly in the center. To save the parameters, click "Apply" on the top panel.
- We will not consider editing other blocks, since in each case the procedure is reduced to filling the special text field or switching the slider.
The only thing that should be noted is a confirmation, which we recommend that we have already recommended after complete editing, making sure the reliability of the specified data. Otherwise, in some changes, for example, due to the displacement of the marker on the map, verification will be started from the very beginning.
