Turning off the sync google photo
The first way to disable Google photos on Android database smartphones is to stop sync and automatically download files.
The "Auto-loading and synchronization" option provides access to media files from any device from which you enter into your Google Account. After turning off the video and the photo will be saved exclusively on the phone.
- Run the Google photo app on your smartphone. In the upper left corner, click on three stripes.
- Go to the "Settings" section.
- Tap the first item - "Autode and Synchronization".
- Be sure to check whether the account is correctly indicated.
- Turn the slider in front of the Row "Autode and Sync" to the "Disabled" position.
- Next, you can free the additional space on the phone, deleting files that have previously been unloaded into the cloud. If you want to execute this action, select "Release the location on the device".
- In the window that opens, you can see how much space will be free. To complete the process, tap "free".
Full shutdown google photo
Google photo in Android is a system application, and therefore it will not be possible to remove it in the usual way.
Important! Removing the program does not entail the cleaning of photos and video in the Google photo service. All data is saved and will be available on any smartphone or computer after authorization in the account.
- Open the Play Market on your smartphone. Tap for search string.
- Enter "Google Photo".
- Select the desired application from the list.
- Click "Delete".
- A window will appear with the message about deleting all system application updates. Tap "OK".
- The removal process may take a few seconds. Do not close the window until complete.
- The icon will disappear from the desktop.
If you wish, at any time you can re-download the program from the Play Market. Removing Google Photo will allow you to completely disable the service. All photos will be stored in standard mode in the gallery.
