Important! The ability to change the cover of the playlist in spots is available only in the PC program and only for custom playback lists, but not those that were created by the Stringing Service.
By default, the covers of the first four tracks are used as the main image of the playlist. In order to change this, do the following:
- In the Spotify program for Windows or MacOS, find the list of playback, a picture for which you want to change. Navigate to it and click on the title.
- In the window that appears, hover the cursor to the cover, then press the menu call button located in its upper right corner, and select "Replace the picture". Alternatively, you can simply click on the current picture.
- Using a system "conductor", which will be open, go to the directory where the suitable background image is stored. Highlight it and click "Open".
Important! As a cover, you can only use images in JPG / JPEG formats that do not exceed 4 MB and having a resolution of at least 300 * 300 points. Also, these files should not violate the law on copyright, trademarks and the protection of the images of citizens.
- Click on the Save button in the Add window and wait a few seconds.
- The cover will be successfully changed.
It will happen not only in the PC program, but also in a mobile application for iOS and Android, which you can make sure by opening the appropriate playlist.
