How to scan code spots

Important! You can scan the code only on your smartphone and tablet with Android and iOS / iPados on which the Spotify mobile application is installed.

Option 1: Camera

Speed ​​codes are often used to promote content, and therefore they can be found not only on the cutting service, but also on many other sites on the Internet, in advertising and even in real life (bigboards, posters, posters, stickers, etc.). You can scan them using the camera built into the app.

1. In the Appendix, go to the Search tab.



2. Touch the search bar and then the camera icon on the right of it appears.



3. Give the application to the camera, then hover the lens to the Spotify code and scan it.

Immediately after this will open a page for which the code was created.

Option 2: Image

Speotifies also can scan codes not only through the camera, but also from images stored in the device's memory. For this:

1. Perform the steps from two previous steps.
2. In the Camera window, tap "Select a photo" and, if necessary, provide the application necessary permissions.



3. Find the image in the window that opens and select it.



4. Mark the virtual frame area on which the code is shown and tap "Select".



5. As soon as the code is recognized, the application will open in the application.

How to create your own Spotify code

Speotifies allows you to create your own codes for playlists, thanks to which they can be conveniently sharing with friends.

Site Spotify Codes.

1. On your mobile device or PC, go to your playlist for which you want to generate code.



2. Call it menu

   

   And select "Share".

   

   Note: In the mobile application, all your playlists already have their own codes.

   

3. On the computer, select "Copy Spotify URI".

   

   On smartphones and tablets, you should choose "Copy the link".

   

   Note! You can also share your page. In order to go to it in the program, it is enough to click on your name in the upper right corner. In a mobile application, you must open the "Settings", and then tap on the image of your profile (but the ready code is also available there). In both cases, you will have an accessible menu through which you can get a link.

   

4. Follow the link specified at the beginning of the instruction, insert the copied address in the field allotted for this, and then click on the "Get Spotify Code" button.

   

   Important! In the safari browser, the site is incorrect, so the necessary manipulations will not work.

5. Edit the image by selecting the color area of ​​the code and the code itself (the latter can only be white or black). The size is better to leave unchanged, but select the format to your discretion (the optimal solution is JPEG or PNG).



6. Having finished with editing, use the "Download" button,

   

   To download the image.



7. All that remains further is to share the created code by sending it to friends or, for example, by publishing on social networks if you want to attract the audience to your profile.



Optionally, you can also edit this image. Please note that only the area with the code is loaded (the green rectangle in our example shown above) is loaded, but if you wish, you can make a unique cover from it, placing the inscriptions "Open. Search. Scan »Your picture.



How to share Spotify code

Speed ​​codes are the same content identifiers, as well as links. They are fixed behind the pages of users and performers, albums, playlists and, as we have already found out, can be created independently, which means they can also be divided.

1. In the Spotify application, find the content you want to share, and tap three points to call the menu.



2. A cover with a cover and code that can be received by one of two ways is:
   • Ask a friend to scan the screen of your mobile device according to the instructions from the first part of this article;

   

   • Make a screenshot and send it to a friend. To gain access to content, it will be required to save the image to its device and scan it according to the instructions from the second part of the article.
