TrustedInstaller does not remove the folder in Windows 10

Method 1: Changing the owner of the folder

The reason for the problem under consideration is the TRUSTEDInstaller system account, the rights to edit content in the catalog belong to it, and other profiles, even with the authority of the administrator, will not help cope with the error. The solution in such a situation will be replaced by the account account with the corresponding permissions, which is performed as follows:

1. Right-click on the directory, the deletion attempt that causes the problem, then select "Properties".



2. Open the Safety tab and click "Advanced".



3. In this window, use the Change link, which is in the "Owner" line.



4. Click "Advanced" again.



5. Here, click "Search" and wait until the list of all permissible subjects is formed.

   

   In this list, find a position with the name of your account, highlight and click "OK".

   

   Make sure the name appears in the screenshot of the area, then click "OK".



6. Upon returning to security settings, check the option "Replace the owner of sub-connecter and objects".



7. In the same window, check whether your account is in the "Permissions" list. If it is missing, use the Add button.



8. Click the "Select Subject" link.

   

   Repeat steps 4.



9. After returning to the previous window, mark everything in the "General Permissions" column and click OK.



10. Here activate the option "Replace all records of the child object permissions inherited from this object," confirm the input and close all properties window.



After performing these manipulations, try changing the contents of the directory or delete it - now the error message should not appear.
