How to make an invisible nickname in discard

You will not be able to change the nickname on the server if restrictions were made by the creators or administration for your role. Consider this and, if necessary, contact privileged persons so that they independently make your nickname invisible or provided relevant rights.

Method 2: Using a special symbol

There is a special character that is not displayed after the preservation of NIC due to the features of the encoding. It can be used even in the latest version of the discard and, most likely, it will be possible to do this in the future. You will need to perform a couple of simple steps:

1. Open the menu to change Nick, where to activate the input field.

5. You have to use a custom color to find the perfect.



6. After displaying the palette insert the code # 2F3136, which corresponds to the background of the list of participants on the server.



7. Apply the changes and go to the "Participants" section.



8. Add the role of the user for whom you wish to make an invisible nickname.



9. Find it in the list that appears, considering that the name of the role is already merged with the background.



10. Return to the list of participants and make sure that the nickname is not really displayed.



11. If we talk about the sending column of messages, this shade is not quite suitable, so you should choose - where you want to make a nickname invisible. If you are interested in hiding the name specifically in the chat, you will have to replace the code on # 36393F, and then the nickname will be visible in the list of participants, but will not appear in the chat.



12. When using bright themes, all these settings lose relevance, so other changes need to be made. Set the color color completely white (#FFFFFF) if you want it to be seen in the chat when sending messages.



13. Save the changes, go back to the server and check the result of the actions performed.



14. To hide Nick from the list of participants you will need to use the color code # F2F3F5. It is slightly different from white, so in the chat nickname can still be seen.

The settings discussed above affect the mapping nickname in the chat and in the list of participants for all users who set a dark or bright theme, applying the standard settings of the messenger. The parameters will be irrelevant when installing third-party topics or other users of the discard, which must be taken into account during their editing.
