Note: Next, the standard Android menu structure is used, both on Moto, Nexus, Pixel phones, almost the same items and Samsung, LG, HTC, Sony Xperia. How to enable Android Developer Mode
Enabling the developer mode on phones and tablets with Android 6, 7 and earlier versions occurs equally.
Necessary steps so that the menu item "for developers" appears
- Go to the settings and at the bottom of the list, open the "On Phone" or "On Tablet" item.
- At the end of the list with data about your device, find the "Sampling number" item (for some phones, for example, Meizu - "MIUI version").

Now, to go to the developer mode parameters, you can open the "Settings" - "For Developers" or "Settings" - "Advanced" - "for developers" (on Meizu, ZTE and some others). It may be necessary to additionally translate the developer mode switch to the "On" position.
Theoretically, on some models of devices with a strongly modified operating system, the method may not work, but I have not previously seen such a thing (successfully triggered with changed settings interfaces on some Chinese phones).

The standard Android 6 and 7 settings in the "For Developers" Point have an on-off switch for the developer mode, however, when you turn off the developer mode, the item itself does not disappear from the settings.
To remove it, follow these steps:
- Go to the settings - applications and turn on the display of all applications (on Samsung it may look like a few tabs).
- Find the Settings (Settings) application in the list and click on it.
- Open the "Storage" item.
- Click "Erase Data".
- At the same time, you will see a warning that all data, including accounts will be deleted, but in fact everything will be fine and your Google account and others will not go anywhere.
- After the data settings have been deleted, the "Developer" item will disappear from the Android menu.
On some models of phones and tablets, the "Erase Data" item for the "Settings" application is not available. In this case, delete the developer mode from the menu only dropping the phone to the factory settings with data loss.
