How to add music to video on YouTube

Method 1: Editor in "Creative Studio"

With the advent of the basic editing options for the downloaded rollers, Google developers have added and means for installing their music.

Important! This feature is no longer available for YouTube's mobile clients and "Creative Studio"!

1. Enter your account and go to Creative Studio.



2. In the left side menu, select "Content".



3. In the list of rollers click on the desired one.



4. Here click on the "Editor".

   

   If you use this opportunity for the first time, you will need to click in the next window "Go to the editor".



5. Wait until the snap is started - the speed of the process depends on the size of the video and the quality of your Internet connection. After fully downloaded the interface, use the "Audio" string where you click on the "Add Sound Track" icon.



6. In this snap, a phonet is available from free music, which service algorithms will not block. Here are both popular and little-known compositions - to choose the appropriate means of listening to you. To begin with the filters, create a sample of tracks.

   

   Next, click "Listen to the track" next to the name of the composition.



7. A more convenient version of music viewing is available by clicking on the link "Phonotek".

   

   A separate tab will open the library discussed at the previous step.

8. To add selected music in the video, click "Add".

   

   Click on the soundtrack area with the left mouse button (LKM), hold it and drag it to the desired roller site. If you use this on the right side of the track, you can regulate the duration of the composition.



9. For more accurate positioning, use the "Scaling" tool.



10. After making the necessary changes, use the "Save" button.

    

    In the next window, carefully read the warning, then press "Save" again.



After performing these manipulations, the soundtrack in the video will be replaced with the selected one. For most situations built into the service tools, it is more so that this is the only method that is suitable for already published video.

Method 2: Pre-treatment

The second, and a more time-consuming solution to the problem under consideration is to add music to a video, which is only prepared for download to YouTube.

1. First you need to choose the track you want to install as background music in the clip. The first compositions of the compositions (for example, MP3 records of popular artists on your computer) are not suitable due to the very strict copyright protection policy on the service, therefore, to avoid problems, it is recommended to choose free solutions. To do this, you can, for example, use the search engine, and enter a request for a kind of free music for YouTube, and then go to one of the results.

   

   Also, there will also no problems with the music that is in the public domain - first of all, these are classic works of famous composers of the past, but not all without exception.
