JP2 is a variety of JPEG2000 graphic formats family, which are used to store photos and images. - To view the image in a separate window, you must go to the "View" menu, where you click on the window "window view" tab "Layout".
- Thus, the image will be displayed in a separate window, where it can be easily viewed and edited.
Unlike Gimp, Faststone Image Viewer has a friendly interface and there is a built-in library.
Method 3: XnView

- You must select the folder in the built-in application browser and its contents will be displayed in the viewport. Then click twice on the desired file.
- The image opens as a separate tab. In its name, the file extension is also displayed. In our example, it is JP2.
The tab support allows you to open several JP2 format photos at once and quickly switch between them. This is the undoubted advantage of this program compared to GIMP and FASTSTONE Image Viewer.
Method 4: ACDSEE
ACDSEE is designed to view and edit graphic files.
- The file selection is carried out both using the built-in library and through the "File" menu. More convenient is the first option. You need to click on the file twice.
- The window opens in which the photo is displayed. At the bottom of the application you can see the name of the image, its permission, the weight and date of the last change.
