Anyway, those who think about buying a laptop today, in early 2014, interests the question of which laptop to buy in 2014 from those that are already available. I decided to take this laptop to first place. Of course, Vaio Pro is a cool, MacBook is wonderful, and you can play on Alienware 18, but if we talk about laptops that most people buy, at an average price and for ordinary working tasks and games, the ASUS N550JV laptop will be one of the best offers on the market.

Do not think, I'm not any apple fan, I do not have an iPhone, but I work all my life (and I will continue, most likely) in Windows. But, even despite this, I believe that MacBook Air 13 is one of the best laptops today.
Funny, but according to the Soluto service rating (April 2013), the MacBook Pro 2012 model has become the "most reliable laptop on Windows" (by the way, there is an official opportunity to install Windows as a second operating system).
The 13-inch MacBook Air, in the initial configurations, you can buy for the price starting from 40 thousand. Not enough, but let's see what is purchased for this money:

Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 2 Pro and ThinkPad X1 Carbon
Two specified laptop from Lenovo are completely different devices, but both of them deserve to be in this list.

It is one of the best business laptops for today and, despite the fact that this is not the newest model, it remains relevant and at the beginning of 2014 (although it probably is waiting for it to update it soon). Its price also begins with a mark of 40 thousand rubles.
The laptop is equipped with a 14-inch screen, SSD, various options for Intel Ivy Bridge processors (3rd generation) and all that habitually see in modern ultrabooks. In addition, there is a fingerprint scanner, a protected housing, support for Intel VPRO, and individual modifications have a built-in 3G module. The battery life is more than 8 hours.
CHROMEBOOK ACER C720 and SAMSUNG
Finish the article I decided to mention such a phenomenon as Chromebook. No, I do not suggest buying this device similar to a computer, and I do not think that it will be suitable for many, but some information, I think it will be useful. (By the way, I bought myself such, for some experiments, so if there are questions - ask).
Since recently, Samsung and Acer's chrombus (however, Acer is not available now, and not because they were open, apparently, they simply did not take) officially began to be sold in Russia and Google are quite actively promoting them (there are other models, for example, at hp). The price of these devices is about 10 thousand rubles.
By the fact that the Chromebook OS is a Chrome browser, from applications you can install those that are in the Chrome store (they can be installed on any computer), Windows cannot be installed (but there is an opportunity for Ubuntu). And I can not even assume whether this product will be popular with us in the country.
But, if you look at the innovations of CES 2014, you will see that a number of leading manufacturers promise to release their chrombuki, Google, as I mentioned, try to advertise them in our country, and in the USA Sales Chromebook made up 21% of all laptop sales in the past year (controversial statistics: In one article on the American Forbes, one journalist is asked: if they are so much bought, then why in the statistics of sites attendance, the percentage of people with Chrome OS has not increased).
