In Google Calendar, there are two options that the default allow anyone who has your email address to send you spam invitations to events.
One of these options can be turned off in settings «Google Calendar" on Android, the other - only at the entrance to the online version of the calendar, so I recommend just use the web interface, which is available both.
- Go to Google Calendar's official website - https://calendar.google.com/calendar/ using your Google Account.
- By clicking on the gear icon at the top right, click the calendar settings.
- Go to the "General" - "Activities" and under "Automatically add invitations to" select "No, only show invitations to which I have responded."
- Go to the "Events from Gmail" and uncheck the "Automatically add events from Gmail on my calendar." This parameter is also present in the Android-application «Google Calendar" in the settings.
- In this process is complete and the spam should stop coming to your Google Calendar.
Important: off automatically add events from Gmail will turn off not only spam, but also automatically add useful information, for example, to find a hotel or a flight.
Interestingly, the majority of spam calendar events appear because of Gmail, and the postal service successfully puts them in the folder "Spam" and you do not see them in your mailbox, calendar but somehow "pull" these invitations out.
