How to find out the Wi-Fi password on a computer with Windows 10 and Windows 8.1

First of all, for this you must be connected to the network, the password from which you want to know. Further steps look like this:

Go to the Network Management Center and Shared Access. This can be done via the control panel or: in Windows 10, click on the connection icon in the notification area, click "Network Settings" (or "Open Network Settings and Internet"), then on the Settings page to select "Network Management and Shared Access". In Windows 8.1 - click right-click on the connection icon on the right below, select the desired menu item.
In the Network and Shared Access Control Center, in the Active Network Browsing section, you will see the Wireless Network Connection List to which currently connected. Click on its name.

How to find out the password if it is not saved on the computer, but there is a direct connection to the router

Another possible event option is if after any failure, recovery or reinstalling Windows, there is no saved password for Wi-Fi network anywhere.
