How to turn on the shown of the charging percentage on iPhone 12, 11, XS and XR
Unfortunately, on the iPhone with a neckline at the top of the screen, place the display of the current battery charge as a percentage in the top line is not available.
However, we can choose one of two options and in this case:
- The simplest thing is to open the "control point", pulling from the top right edge of the screen down: as a result, the percentage of charging will be displayed in the status bar.
- The second opportunity has become available with IOS 14 output - now we can place a widget showing the battery level level, including on the home screen (or in the field of the on-left widgets):
- Press and hold your finger in an empty home screen location, and when it goes into edit mode, click on the Plus button on the left above.
- A list of widgets will open, find the item "Elements" in the list.
- Select the appropriate option of the widget with the percent display and add it to the main screen.
- As a result, you will always show the current charge percentage, although it takes more space than is required, in my opinion.
- Press and hold your finger in an empty home screen location, and when it goes into edit mode, click on the Plus button on the left above.
You may, in the future, Apple will offer another option to show the percentage of charging on these iPhone models, but so far only so.
Turn on the display of the charge level in percent on the iPhone SE, 8, 7, 6S, 6
On the iPhone with the "Home" button and without cutout at the top of the screen and the option with the widget described above (in iOS 14) and more simple - show the charge percentage in the status bar to turn it on:
- Go to the settings and select "Battery".
- Enable the "Charge in Percentage" option.
Immediately after this, the charge level will be displayed in the top row on the right, next to the battery icon.
