On the one hand, if you see the tests of Yoga 3 Pro with similar specifications and the Core M processor, then for many performance tasks, the new MacBook (there are no tests) should be enough. On the other hand, in the processing of images and video, other resource-intensive work scenarios, the speed of work is almost two times lower than that of AIR with 4 GB of memory. And taking into account the fact that these operations will often be performed in Turbo Boost, here and with battery life from battery can occur.
- The price is the same as AIR with 256 GB SSD and 8 GB RAM (and this is the basic New MacBook configuration).
