How to disable repetition of iPhone messages

If you have an iPhone and you do not read SMS messages or iMessage immediately, they could notice that the notifications about them - the beep and vibration come again after a while until the message read and not everyone likes it.

Configuring repeated iPhone message notifications

The setting you need is easily in the iPhone notification settings:

1. Go to settings - notifications.

   

2. Open the message "Messages".

   

3. Click on the "Repeat Notifications" below.

   

4. Select "Never" if you do not want to receive repeated notifications. And if you wish, you can increase their quantity.

   

By default, repeated notifications come once every 2 minutes and this time cannot be changed, and the option itself is only available for the "Messages" application, in any case for other applications I did not find it.
